Google I/O 2024 events kick off tomorrow: Google's annual developer conference I/O 2024 will take place from May 14th to 20th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

The event will begin with a keynote speech by Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, followed by a series of sessions that will provide information on new announcements from Google. The company hasn't revealed much about its plans for I/O 2024, but it is expected to focus on AI and may introduce Gemini-powered AI features to its suite of apps.

The latest version of Android and Android 15, is also expected to be unveiled, along with new features that improve privacy, productivity, and security. Gemini AI functionality is anticipated to be added to a range of applications, and Google may unveil a new virtual assistant called 'Pixie', which could have multimodal capabilities and be exclusive to Pixel devices.

Additionally, Google may discuss Wear OS 5 its upgraded operating system for wearables, which will include advances in the Watch Face format and designing for a wider range of devices. The keynote speech and many other key sessions will be live-streamed on Google's official YouTube channel.
