Flipkart Launched Revolutionary Digital Payments Service

Flipkart, the e-commerce giant, has announced the launch Unified Payments Interface (UPI) service, Flipkart UPI, in partnership with Axis Bank.

Initially, the service will be available for Android users, with loyalty features such as Supercoins, cashback, milestone benefits, and brand vouchers to be made available soon after the UPI launch.

Flipkart has been testing its UPI offering since last year and aims to provide its users with a seamless payment experience without the need to switch to other applications.

The move is significant in the context of the National Payments Corporation of India's (NPCI) attempt to reduce UPI's over-reliance on a few players.

The service aims to provide unparalleled convenience and zero-cost solutions, access to seamless payment options. Users can conveniently use the feature for online and offline merchant transactions within and outside the Flipkart marketplace.

Customers can now register for UPI with the @fkaxis handle and can do all fund transfers and checkout payments using the Flipkart app. This solution provides one of the most stable and scalable UPI platforms for customers."
