Google's Latest Move: Empowering English Learning in India with Personalized Feedback Feature

A new exciting and informative feature in Google will be rolled out in supported countries in the upcoming days. This feature provides personalized feedback and contextual translation for English learners.

Google Search will now help users in India, Indonesia, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, or Venezuela learn English with the 'personalized feedback' feature.


Well, Google found one of the essential things for Indians they should be good at--communication with confidence.


Learning a language can unlock new opportunities in a person's life. It can help people connect with those from different cultures, travel the world, and promote their careers. if you find proficiency in a new language difficult to achieve and many learners find it hard to practice speaking and get helpful feedback, which can hinder their learning progress.

Google has patterned with linguists, teachers, and ESL/EFL pedagogical experts to improve speaking practice experience that is effective, inspiring, and practising vocabulary in authentic contexts. Practising and learning words in real situations, repeating material at varying intervals to boost memory - proven techniques for building confidence in speaking. How does the new personalized feedback feature work?

The personalized feedback feature helps users understand how well they're speaking. It shows if their response would be clear to someone they're talking to. Google also gives grammar tips for better answers in different situations.

To enhance the English learning process, Google will also allow users to get the contextual translation for a sentence. During their training session, users can tap on a particular word and understand its meaning based on the context.

Google's new English learning features are powered by a new deep learning model called Deep Aligner that has been designed in collaboration with the Google Translate team.


These new features in Google will be made available to users in supported countries in the next few days. and the search giant has promised to add support for more languages and countries too.
